Three Workplace groups offer prompts and challenges to encourage Cru staff to express their creativity.
Photographers Network
Photographers Network wants to grow as a community of creatives by sharing, asking feedback, and learning from the expertise of others. They are CCCI/Cru staff who are fascinated by the captured image. They are encouraged to share images showing excellence and craft. Many members also contribute to the global media library of images that tell the story of CCCI/Cru.
This Workplace group has monthly challenges to encourage photographers to express photography themes. See the NOTES for links to winning photos.
Artists on Staff
For several Octobers, this group has joined in the Internet phenomenon of “Inktober.” We follow daily prompts for this month to produce any type of art, not just ink drawings.
According to the group: Artists on Staff is “for those of us who make Art—or wish they were making it. Let’s connect, share and gently push each other toward making.”
Called to Write – The Ministry of Writing
I created this writers’ group and decided to try monthly prompts. The prompt for October is “Reformation.”
Called to Write is a place for Cru staff who love writing. Meet other writers. Share your talent with us. Find opportunities for writers. I’m inviting podcasters as a “spoken word” subset since bloggers are trying out this medium.
